It just got way easy. The owner decided to buy a new transaxle.
So with shipping to Wisconsin from Tennessee, the total came to $725.43
His tractor is ten years old and it all works well except for the transaxle. So he figured he was saving money over buying a new tractor.
He is my pastor so I am willing to do this for free, but I know he'll pay me something anyway. That's how we roll whenever he needs my help.
Regarding parting out these tractors, at least the valuable parts take up less room than the whole tractor! It just takes time to let people know that you are selling them - posting on ebay and craigslist and such....
