I had one a couple of years ago guy brung to me asked to put a clutch on and I did and the spacer wasn't there and didn't know about it put it on all was good and he took it home and it didn't last very long and he said you think this washer might had something to do with it. I told him yes and if he would have said something about he wouldn't be buying a new clutch.

Greetings All

When it comes to the Ford-New Holland part numbers, take off the TR and replace the D with a dash. Hey Presto, you have a Toro number. Try searching for part # 92-6885 and see what that nets you. All the best,

thanks for your time and advice I called a new Holland Dealer found out lawn tractor mfg. April 14, 1994 & use PTO TR92D6885 looked up component # 9861898 ser. # T4B0239 rechecked tractor PTO bolt broke off in crankshaft, frame has welded bracket to hold PTO from spinning, missing bolt, washer, spacer according to drawing. I still do not know why they used a double pulley PTO when there is only 1 pulley used for the deck & dealer cost for PTO $700.

If you Google the Extreme X0474 you will it is about 370 usd with free shipping. I sell the Extreme brand to my customers here; of course, I mark them up some.

If this is the case then it needs to be verify if CW X0474 or CCW X0472 is needed then. Using the New Holland pn it comes up as CW clutch and the Toro pn comes up as CCW.

I might need to explain this one a little. Terms here is in reference to the clutch and not the engine rotation. CW clutch normally mounts with the pulley assembly toward the engine and CCW away; unless, you have an oddball engine that runs backward of normal. I only seen one airplane with engines rotating opposite each other. The main problem is with the straps orientation if they facing the wrong direction you can have a major failure of the clutch assembly. Basically the rotor pulls the armature so if the straps are facing the wrong direction they will buckle and rupture.
