Kohler starter cable post size

Kohler starter cable post size

Just had to remove cable at starter to remove battery. Nut was tight all the way. Has no threads now. Post is not perfect at first 2 threads but ok after. Don't want to force 5/16 course if it's really metric.

Found it is metric 8x1.25. Retapped the nut and was able to get die on the stud so all is back together.

You beat to it before I could check one here but most Kohler engines use metrics.
