Bles, Just curious had the original carburetor never been worked on? Sounds like the jets were wrong but with it being a twin barrel Keilin carburetor there is no replacement jets that I know of if someone messed with them.

Yes, I've had the carb apart, but nothing changed or out of place. Not even dirty.
Only thing I'm not sure about is a hose that came off the top of the carb. "New" one doesn't have it. Original is spec 0016, "new" carb is off spec 2014.

Oh well there is no way of telling what the differences, Kohler is very lipped about how they are setup.
