The problem with using two complete gaskets is that it doesn't take in account for the warpage where using two gasket to form a wedge gasket works better. I have yet to replace a warped air cleaner base because of lack of priming.

Spectacular. I had tried two gaskets the other day but had no luck. I tried your trick of cutting a gasket for the low area and it worked like a charm. As usual, thank you very much.
