738-0919A Steering shaft

Just replaced a 738-0919A steering shaft with an Oregon 76-044. Boy was surprised by the Oregon shaft. As many of us know the MTD doesn't look all that well with the raise gear teeth. Well Oregon version I installed had teeth were machine so there is there none this rolled teeth (like to chip away) that MTD does.

Personally the Oregon part is a much better made product but only time will tell about the durability.
