stihl fs 36 line trimmer

when i first got this trimmer handed to me it would not start,no fuel to cylinder.after i cleaned the carb in the USC i had the complete opposite,way to much fuel machine was flooding.took the carb apart again and adjusted the fuel valve lever down,way down,put it back together and now it runs like a champ.someone before me must have messed with it and not only lost some fasteners but screwed around with the metering as well. hope this helps someone else. cheers

That's why you need the Zama "Z" and both of the Walbro "W"s tools in your two cycle tool kit. The metering lever in the repair kit are a lot time not set right either.

BTW the Walbro WT lever are usually adjusted level with the metering chamber floor.
