Kawasaki engines

Could someone with more knowledge than me, explain the difference between a KF 82 engine and FZ340D
Both models are referenced when trying to locate used parts for a 1986 Club Car DS.

Mr Moe really can't answer the question other than offer you the service manual. Go the downloads Forum section, Topic > Kawasaki Service Info Directory and down the JD K series service manual. It should explain these two engines as they are apparently very much the same engine.

And pink hurts my eyes. HEE HEE.

EDIT: After looking thru the manual myself I see both model numbers refer to the same engine. Kawasaki just changed the model at a particular serial number break.
