I went out tonight and drilled the housing, tapped it and installed the grease fitting. When I went to install the bottom bearing I noticed that the housing was cracked. I went to my barrel of murray parts and found another housing. Funny was that I found no seal on the bottom side of the bottom bearing. Then I also noticed that my replacement housing was a bit taller, Thought about using it anyway. I discovered also that the two shafts had different size threaded pulley end but that the shafts were the same length. Then it hit me that the shorter housing one had a spacer under the pulley that the longer one did not have. So when assembled the blade to pulley height is the same.
