What happens if you add little bit of choke, gradually so as to try to stop the hunting? when cold

What happens if you set the idle really slow and hold the governor arm so it's not involved or hold the carb throttle shaft closed manually??? (LIKE CRIEA SUGGESTED)

Does it idle good and smooth if the idle is set really slow even when hot or warmed up?

How long does it take it too warm up and completely QUIT HUNTING?

Can you give us a link to a IPL or ID info of the carb involved??
