The restrictor that is between the head and the cylinder is there and its in good shape as is the oring that was surrounding it.That little bugger is why I decided to tear down the motor actually I called the guy from pinelles today to talk with him about it. He said that these engines have problems with the drive gear on the crank that drives the plastic oil pump gear. He says they wear out and all the metal gets clogged up in the oil restrictor. This doesn't seem to be the case on my engine. My gear looks like its in very good shape. BTW the engine he is working on in those videos I thought was the same as mine but its a little different. He says its the sister motor. His is in a slanted position and has a balancer, where as mine is vertically positioned. Arkie is right though everything I have checked is at its max spec. I could get tighter crank and rod bearings and a new oil pump and see what happeneds. I'm not going to do a full rebuild with new everything like that guy it would cost a fortune. I know where there is another engine but its out of the mower and as someone mentioned they thought it has a round PTO side crank as mine has a tapered one. Does anyone else know anymore differences between the generator and mower gx360?

I'm looking for a service manual for this generator and cant seem to find one on ebay. Does anyone else know of a place to get a paper one? Also there seems to be like 3 variations of this es6500. Two different K1's and a K2. how do I know what one I have?

The frame serial number is needed.

Ok so what gives. The manual that Mek posted is a more generic manual. It looks like it could be for the generators or the lawn tractor. The one that Arkie posted was from the es6500 manual by the looks of it. Here are two pics showing the specs of the oil pump..???? If a thousand of an inch is going to make a big difference in this pump.. how is it possible that these two manuals have such different specs?
