John Deere 345

Crank but no spark. Kawasaki fd611vo24873. Replaced key switch,plugs. Module of side of engine,regulator after regulator I did get spark ran for a few sec and then quit with no spark. Any help and ideas. Thinking might be the high res coil.

Is it maybe getting 12V shot to it destroying the igniter? (If it isn't supposed to get 12v, that is - I havent looked at wiring diagram.)

Thanks for the info. Had another one just like it took key out out in the which was running and the regulator and now have same issues with both. :bricks:

Got frustrated and called it quits for now. I'll look over the link that's posted and check thing out Monday or sometime.

While checking things which related to ignition switch and regulator if these are one two things changed between the two mowers you should check the female Packard terminals. They tend to break along the circled hinge point causing loose connections that break connection on first surge power. I have several of them this year on Husvqvarna and Poulan mowers broken.

Updated got the ole Deere back
On her feet and running. The issue was it wasn't firing when it came in to the shop. Little round cyclinder that is connected to the small little igniter by the flywheel. I think it is the firing module if thinking right. Thanks for all the help.
