Need help with Honda model number

I am trying to find the model number of a Honda engine. There are no stickers. I can see where there was a label at one time on the top of the starter housing. The serial (VIN) number is stamped on the side....GJAE-1236297. Also stamped next to it is...MY1*. Stamped below it is....160cm3. The engine is on a lawnmower....Honda Harmony II HRT216SDA...MZCG 6064182 JJ.

Is there any way to find the model number from the information above?

That would be a GCV160 . 160 cubed is part of the key info.

Yes it is a GCV160 but as parts look-up this particular setup is unique to the HRT216 SDA mower is why engine parts are part of the HRT216 SDA IPL. If you tried looking the engine by the SN [GJAE-1236297] you posted it will just come back as invalid. But model code [GJAE] pate of serial number does say it is GCV160

any significance to fact partstree does not show a type MY1 for the GJAE? because it's only used on that mower?

You got it, It is used only on that mower. This confused the heck out of me too when I started working the Honda mowers but learn to look the mower for engine parts.
