Hi/Lo Mixture Screws ... Zama Carb

I am working on a Homelite 01-98, 25cc string trimmer...UT 20680, Ser HT 0051254. It has a C1U H39 79A Zama carb. The lo mixture screw has a red limit cap that stops against the hi mix screw (which may not be adjustable??). Both are surrounded by a white nylon frame, bracket, saddle. Anyway, I was going to remove limit cap and screws to clean carb. The lo mix is definitely adjustable, but the high mix looks like a solid steel bar that is not. Is anyone familiar with this carb? Is the hi mix fixed?

Yes high mixture is fixed and that just a steel post.

So, KE4AVB, there is no way to remove it for cleaning, as there is for the lo mix?

Nope. cant remove them.. if they are so bad the H mixture jets need cleaning, better off with a replacement carb..
