Yep, I seen some you tube videos where guys using electrolysis rust removal on motorcycle gas tanks.

One of these days I'm gonna try the electrolysis tank.

just doing a tank derust. I filled it will cleaning vinegar. I forgot that I have a part jug of muriatic acid from way back when I was derusting model A ford parts. I'm wondering if the flash rust could be handled by filling tank with diesel fuel right after pouring out the acid solution.
