Carburetor number available somewhere??

Postby dart451 » Fri Aug 31, 2018 12:22 pm

Looking for a carburetor for my old tractor...it's an old Craftsman 917.258492 , Briggs engine, 422707-1516-01 92042712. I tried looking for the carb number at Jack's Small Engine but it only has the word BLANK in the spot where the number usually is. Some of you guys have places to look that I am not aware of apparently!? Thanks.

Use PN 693480. It will be the 4 bolt fuel pump version instead of the 3 bolt.

Now you know why I charge a C note for a rebuilt one when they don't have a good core.

This time I was looking into getting a new carb for my own tractor. It now likes to have the choke on half-way to run right. Guess I'm too lazy to rebuild my own stuff!? lol
