Cub LT1042 Steering Shaft Replacement

Just looked at 700 series repair manual and it's like the ones I've done. It is Philips #4 and manual says to use impact driver to remove. Has loctite on it.

The Cub LT1000 series is nothing like the 700 series when it comes to the steering.
