vise grips and thin, narrow cold chisel - start a dent in one side of pipe and pound it down towards center to collapse pipe, thin chisel driven between block threads in one point only, til pipe collapses in on one side, fold it in and vise grips to thread it out , can chase the threads after with a pipe tap if you have one, or hacksaw to cut a groove (not all the way through) a threaded pipe of the correct size can also chase the threads to straighten things back out... have also had some luck with an extra wide chisel , and sometimes even a tightly fitting socket driven into middle or pipe, and a pipe wrench to unthread.. Ive pulled 'em in lots of similar ways, but if metal is rusted thin, best luck with the first method, but if the pipe is sold enough, with something to support the inside of pipe, a pipe wrench can sometimes do the trick if it isn't seized too badly... bit of heat can help too, and if you have a dremel tool you can probably cut a slot in pipe enough to collapse pipe with vise grips to loosen it and unthread... lots of ways
