No kidding. I think all is did was lean out a carburetor was leaking fuel by that oring. I am sure it will show up again. I still got the parts so next time I will do that job. I asked him why and he said he didn't see an issue.

The person who has this mower wanted me to take a look at for him as its back running like it was in 2022. The welch plug has came out and I talked to the person who fixed it back in 2022 and he said that's what was wrong with it back then. Does anyone know the size of these ? I removed the air cleaner and I can see the missing plug . I can replace it without removing the carburetor but I didn't see the missing plug anywhere. I bet it blew out again when it backfired. You can tell its sucking air where the plug goes and causing it to run rich.

IF you referring the welch plugs the idle air bleed screws then the PN is 92066-7009. As far as I know they just EPA plugs to prevent someone from easily adjusting the fuel mixture but they do fall out when loose.

I don't have the mower at my shop right now so I'm not sure if this is the plug where you adjust it. I don't think it is as. They told me it was sucking air where the plug is missing but I got a picture of what's missing.

I see a small line with a clamp on it right opposite where this plug is supposed to be. Looks like it right on top of carburetor.

I don't know how to put a picture here. I can text you a picture as I have the picture of it on my iphone. I do understand if you don't want to do that though. I have be trying to get this picture on my computer. Its an HEIC file and I can't remember how I did that before. It was sent to me from another iphone and I have it in my pictures but can't open it.

That the one we can't get that I know of. That be over the idle bleed holes. Here is a little clear image.

But I search my SKUs just in case I have a replacement.

Upon doing further searching, the welch plug (expansion plug) is PN 92066-0780. I have used them before and even got a few in stock. Boy Kawasaki like to hide part numbers. Sorry for the initial mislead.

So it would run rich if it was missing ? Maybe I can come up with something. I am trying to help my 90 year old 1st cousin back going. :D
The man that put the plug in back in 2022 made it work for almost two years. Not sure what he used but he does own a small engine shop. I bet the backfiring caused it to come out again. I talked to him this afternoon and he is really hard of hearing. He didn't know if it backfired or not.

Check updated previous post. And if missing it is running very lean. If you want I can dig up the stock and give a diameter,
