Does anyone does what the part number for the welch plugs over the carburetor bypass holes.

The IPL does show ones the mixture screw but hopefully I won't need to remove those two as they are only $7 each (ridiculous priced). I reckon I going to need to learn how to make these in house.

I seen a doming kit at HFT so that might be the route I need to take.Just how am i going to cut the blanks for the doming?

You're supposed to have a drawer of all these little odds and ends. :) The right sized hole punch and some aluminum sheet just might make you a plug.

I got some hole punches I use for making paper gaskets. I wonder if they are strong enough to do aluminum. But I do have a box with a lot welch plugs but I never seem to have the right size on hand.

That's how I started buying those Walbro kits for the X series. I never had anything small enough. Do you have a diameter of the needed plugs?

I did measure the final size of the one I filed down but I believe I found the right plug PN of 92066-0780 from another similar FX730V carburetor. Now of that engine's IPL don't the mixture screw screw plugs. Strange it is like Kawasaki is not wanting me to properly repair the carburetors.

I believe what Suki is looking for are 8.5mm diameter plugs.
