When will YOUR state enact similar legislation?

Nothing of note here yet but our knee jerk socialist government greenies will be watching closely. I think supply will be more of a problem as manufacturers stop production due to shrinking consumer demand but problems will start surfacing as the demand for electric grows. Where are the metals to manufacture batteries going to come from and what about waste disposal? The grid is already strained in highly populated areas. How will the extra demand be handled? I expect the whole thing will fall flat on its face.

Just how long the consumer patience going to last when at the peak of the mowing season they are having wait hours for batteries to recharge because either they forgot to recharge after the last use or the batteries went flat during normal use? And just think of the commercial guys that will have pull a trailer around full of charged batteries every day just to get their work done.

I thinking of just dying some concrete green and doing my whole yard. Then of course my place will become a heat island.

Yet these cats don't complain about how polluting the aircraft are. I remember back when 9/11 happen and all the air craft were grounded and vehicles were used a lot less how clear the skies got in a week.

Just read today that none of our canadian government levels have any plans for how to dispose of the toxic spent batteries from our electrification.

Greetings All and Happy New Year

Echoing what KE4 says, if the EPA really wanted to actually do something about carbon emissions, why not go for the largest polluters in the world after China. Container ships and cruise ships plying the worlds oceans followed by commercial jetliners and private jets. From what I understand, a private jet flying for 50 minutes produces as much CO₂ as the average car produces in a year. Just my 2¢ worth,

Dealer said they were going to continue ordering as long as the manufacturers are willing to ship.

Also, the law only affects engines manufactured after 01/01/2024.
