I want

I want a bigger screen for my computer. I want at least a 24" but not a 32". Some where in between those 2 numbers. I want to get a TV screen and I need to know what type (cord) to get to hook up the TV to the back of the computer. USB, HDMI, or other.

Most of them these days have a computer hookup and the one you need depends on your computer's video card hookup - Usually VGA but some newer computers offer HDMI

Yep...all depends on your video card. Look at the new TV and see if it has a VGA slot. Added a video card is pretty simple. I'm running a 26 inch TV on the VGA slot and love it ( except no speakers)...don't remember why I'm not running the HDMI since my card supports it.....must be a reason.....

Most of the computers I have looked at has the HEMI connection.
Now comes my delima. Buy a computer with HDMI, Buy Cord, buy new Video card and put it in the old computer (which is working very good). or buy new computer,
new TV(Have to learn new system--=Ugg), HDMI cord,,,,,,,,,,,,,or learn to live with what I have....

Before buying a new computer consider your current software that you use. Depending how old of system it may not work on the new system. It was the reason I was with Win2000 until this Spring as my accounting software wasn't being upgrade to handle to system. The only thing the vendor offered was an Auto Manager version that was way too complicated just to print an invoice. Even with my current software I got find if it is going to work with Win 10 that is being release soon if not already. That upgrade will require all new equipment; my stuff is just too old to handle it.
