Okie, don't feel your the only one. The state of Tennessee is confusing me and the local county license department. They for some reason had me to buy last year license over saying it was a business tax that I failed to pay. Since I am new here I filed and paid the tax not knowing it was for a business license instead; different terms then I am use to. Well I got a new license Friday in the mail dated for this year but for last year so I call the license department and she was completely confused as she was having to look at three computers screens. She said for me and her to do is for me to just bring all my paperwork this week and she try to get things straighten out and get me refund. I glad I keep printed out hard copies of emails and letters related to the business.

I don't mine paying my bills but don't like paying the same bill again with penalties.
