Canada's metric eh?

Well, not really. I came into possession of a Black& Decker belt sander. It takes a 60mm x 400mm belt. So far I've only found some on ebay and all from the UK. None on ebay located in N. America.

Now you know why I end special ordering metric stuff here. Even in a space related city like Huntsville, AL home of the Marshall Space Flight Center metric fasteners and tools are hard to get. If it wasn't for Fastenal I would be a bind for these. If any of the local happen to have any fasteners boy they proud of them price wise.

There is not too places you can get the metric wrenches sizes between 20mm and 30mm either and I do need these on the JDs here. Kinda wish I had brought two when I got the first set as I haven't any more set that goes from 6mm to 30mm without skipping a size. Sometime i can make do with a SAE size but not always.

At 25mm to the inch that seems like a very narrow belt. 400mm would be 16" long.

25.4 actually so belt is close to
2.36 inches wide and 15.75
CTC has 3x18 sanders and I think I saw a 16" belt but it would have been too long.
