Spark Plug Socket?

Boy when you think got only two spark plug sockets you ever needed then comes the 11/16" one. So anyone is working Kohler engine some them now have 11/16" OEM Hex plugs.

Plus I even found there is a 14mm and 18mm ones out there. They just got to drive me crazy.

Yup. I have had spark plugs that took socket sizes from 5/8 through 7/8 and 14mm through 19mm but have only ever had dedicated spark plug sockets (automotive, with rubber insert) in 5/8 and 13/16 ....

For some reason even with the rubber insert on my 5/8 I have breaking some the plugs lately. I don't see a reason for it either. Maybe the plugs are border lined cracked. I known had failed which is why I was changing them.

All I know is that I got to get the new sizes if I going to keep changing these plugs. The NGK replacements supposedly have 18mm hexes for those Kohler plugs that are 11/16".

Oh well looks like another toolbox in my future., running out room in the two 44" sets I have now. And using a Craftsman 26" set just for screws and nuts now so I can find things easier.
