New Pin Clutch tool

Postby KE4AVB » Sat Mar 06, 2021 6:11 pm

For those that work Poulan Chainsaws there is a new pin clutch that you should add to your collection clutch removal tools.

I had the 530031112 but I just ran into the need for one that has slightly further apart spaced pins. This tool will not fit in the newer clutch design.

The new tool is 530031116.

May be not suitable in this case but in an emergency, dig out a redundant angle grinder disc retainer pin spanner (sorry, wrench!) and cut into it to either increase or decrease the distance between the pins and then weld to fix. Crude but effective .

I just spent the 4.20 USD for the tool. Saves a lot headaches.
