Hello, I have a Cub Cadet 4 Cycle Trimmer, Model CC4105 REV BOO SN 1C207DEO. According to the manual it is supposed to start without using the choke. The only time that the choke is to be used is when temp is 40 or below. I did not know this. Although I did think it odd that the choke lever is recessed behind the filter assembly (at first I thought the choke lever was broke off, but it is not). I fixed the kill switch as requested and put in a new plug. Starts great with choke engaged and runs great with the choke off, just like most machines. I thought I was done. But when the guy came to pick it up he said he never used the choke??????? That’s when I looked up the manual and saw that it is not needed, but it will not start without the choke engaged. Any suggestions??
Thanks,
Pat
