Face Book

Postby okie » Thu Jul 28, 2016 6:04 pm

Hi, Seniors (& all Luddites & other non-Facebook users)

For those of my generation who do not use and cannot comprehend why Facebook exists:

I am trying to make friends outside of Facebook while using the same principles. Therefore, every day I walk down the street and tell passersby what I have eaten, how I feel at the moment, what I have done the night before, what I will do later, and with whom.

I give them pictures of my family, my dog, and of me gardening, taking things apart in the garage, watering the lawn, standing in front of landmarks, driving around town, having lunch (+ the lunch itself of course), and doing what anybody and everybody does every day.

I also listen to their conversations, give them the "thumbs up" and tell them I like them.

And it works just like Facebook. I already have five people following me:
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Two police officers, a private investigator, a priest and a psychiatrist.

Well I two up on you. Two follows in white coats carrying a straight jacket close on my heels. Everywhere I go they pop up. Yesterday they even try to get me to try on that jacket.

Today one of customers showed up and I was wearing a white suit and they left in a hurry. They didn't want to stay around while I was playing with my girls or striped apes as my mom called them. The customer will be back tomorrow when the girls are at work. This customer understands that I must play with them every once a while.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but white is not the color of choice when working on old nasty lawn mowers. :bricks:

Okie, What mean you nasty mowers I haven't seen a nasty one yet just multiples. That UTV I just got through with looked like it had been ran through grease pit. Had to wash out my shirt with two cycle mix get to get the grease out of it.

For what I doing at the time was not on mowers but did have blue work clothes underneath and boy was it hot wearing that white full body suit. It a lot easier to make sure I got all those brown and yellow stripped girls off me with the white background before I go in the house. Only one of them pop me last night when I shutting up the shop.

I got to move the girls after dark tonight to a new location as where they are now will make my customers uneasy and those wild rug rats will probably get in trouble around those girls but they will mess with them one time. I think just going put them on guard duty at one corner of the shop.

I think they would make good guards........because they have built-in tasers. And if I remember correct, the taser effect last a lot longer than the policeman's taser.
