Probably more like drag racing if he might break an axle or differential.

Might need to find a friend that will let you store a trailer, Mek.

Personally I never owned a Ford Pickup of any kind. Test drove one years ago and it was too wimpy for my needs. It would even a local hill without downshifting and that was with nothing but me and the empty truck. Even my mother's Nissan 720 had more towing capacity. It pull that same building out the ditches I had dug to get the trailer under the building and that was with tongue jack plowing up the ground. So far my main trucks have been Dodge D150 and the Chevy S1500 that I have now. I admitted trailer brakes would be nice addition for stopping as I have slide the S1500 a couple times. Both of them have towed 6500 combined weight of trailer and scrape iron. Both also are automatic transmissions.

I guess I could make a truck like I did for my grandson about 20 plus years ago. Now Great grandson is playing with it. Some things just don't go out of style.
This one will haul a load. Its not build for speed but it will pull a mustang.

Okie, How many cookies is Dillon charging per tow? Wouldn't be trying to fill that treasure chest you made would he? But not knowing him I would still suspect he is eating up all the profits.

Mek, yes it takes time to settle what will work best for you intended use. Keep looking and you will find what works. It sorta like when I brought a set of ramps for unloading and loading of lawn mowers I had to take into account those large ZTRs and ATVs that started coming in the shop. It was either build a dedicated ramp with adjustable height or buy a set of portable ramps. I went with a set 3000 lbs arched aluminum ramps. It might of cost 300 but they are well worth it to save on sore backs and less risk of damaging equipment by unload by hand. I even had to add an electric winch to my trailer for loading them when not running. It is a 5000 lbs single line pull so I can double it and pull twice that if needed. About gave out trying push on a 42" Toro ZTR last year
