Kohler CH25 ignition??

Kohler CH25S- 68507

When I try to look up ignition coils/module that part of page is blank... no numbers. How do I find current part numbers?

Okay Bles called Kohler since this not listed on any of the IPLs for the spec.

You will need to determined if it is 1 or 2 terminal versions you need.

1 Terminal PN 25 584 15-S
2 Terminal PN 24 584 36-S

Thanks Starfire.

I believe those are the latest numbers for the individual ignition coils. This engine also has the spark advance module that was used for a while. If memory serves me correct, there is a required wiring harness change, too, that gets rid of it.? I forget how I tracked down all these numbers last time. Is there any other way to find parts if a person doesn't have a contact with Kohler? Wish I'd made some notes last time I saw one of these. I only remember enough to be dangerous! :)

Also, is it possible it's 2 or 3 terminal instead of 1 or 2? I seem to recall something about that.

If your system has the 24 584 36-S see the the following service bulletin.

I'm thinking I should re-word my original post. The spark advance module (or whatever you call the third piece in the system) has failed. I don't believe it's used any more but I'm not sure how to switch to the new system. I think I remember that there is a new harness and a new coil for each cylinder and the SAM is discarded or at least unhooked.? Does this make any more sense? Thanks for the replies.

Maybe your thinking of the DSAI to MDI conversion kit. I don't know if that kit will work on the CH25 coil mounting otherwise. Here is a link to the PB-259_DSAI_MDI_IGNITION.pdf.
