I know that .08 isn't much to complain about but it does throws the books out of wack and takes time to find where the mis-balance was especially since also use the same credit card for all my personal purchases which make accounting for things a little harder. It was the .08 extra it just the principle that I was invoice one amount and actually was charged a higher fee.
I recently made a purchase from www.bestboatwire.com for 25 8 ga 1/4" cable lugs which btw are well made. When I went to pay my credit card bill it was off by the .08 over charge. My first email to bestboatwire was missed by them according to them. They the blame the overcharge on something going wrong with the Paypal transaction. Either way I had an invoice for one amount and credit card charge of another amount. They since credited me the additional charges.
Anyway we all need to keep a check on not just are online Paypal charges but all the charges that affect our credit cards and bank accounts.
This is the second time this year my card have been affected. The first was the hack of Bailey's where I had nearly 700.00 charged on my card from a Hawaiian beauty supply store. They had tried another 800+ charge but it did go though as it exceeded my credit limit.
