Sportsman 40cc 4 stroke Generator - Any Good?

A buddy of mine is thinking of buying one. Anyone worked on this 40cc 4 stroke? Any guess who makes it? I wonder if it's the 32cc 4 stroke on MTD powerheads - just bigger. IIRC, they have valve or cam trouble.

Well it has a Chinese cloned engine of the Lifan LF-139F which parts are nearly non exsist for. With this in mind I would say it a disposable unit; other-words, it good as long it works and then you throw it away when it don't. It sorta all Chinese clone Honda engines that parts are limited available for.
