I was checking out some parts. Amazon.ca can be ridiculous on some items. Getting some from USA can have it hassles but who in their right mind would buy from this Canadian source on amazon.ca. Wow , no duty. Look at these crazy prices. Multiple by about 3/4 to get it in $US.

Maybe they are gold plating everything.

As prices goes there are times Amazon vendors on this side on the border are way higher too. Some us do shop around for the best deal. Money is too hard to come by to just give way or you can be like Fry in the above image. What gets me they actual got customers.

That 698781 bowl gasket is only 6.50 Briggs list USD which is 8.50 CAD at today exchange. That is nearly 81% gross markup or nearly 5x depending on how you figure markup. Plain simple highway robbery just not holding gun a to your head. Now I there is other charges involved in getting get it to your door so they got figured in when ordering but I still think 31.54 USD before shipping cost is way out of line.

I just checked a briggs/murray gas tank. in stock for 92 USD from a decent supplier. Amazon.ca shows it for $688 CDN. lol. Yet amazon.com has it for $57 USD. go figure. But apparently .com will ship it to Canada and with import charges it is $112 USD.
