Lz23kc604 model. Here is the problem. Under the seat there is a hydro tank. On top of it says fill with 15w-50 synthetic engine oil. She went to the service center and gave them the model # and gave her the filter and gave her hydro oil part # 109-9828. My ? Is is this the same oil or should I go with the 15w-50 motor oil.

Can't open up the link. Is it the same thing. Part number I posted is dark green not looking like motor oil. Tried to do some looking around but nothing I found where is equal to 15w-50 motor oil. Thanks

Hi Luffy

The link is to the MSDS of this product and describes it as being UNIFILM 15W50 engine lubricant, so yes, it's the same thing. I'd say go ahead and use it, it's what the manufacturer recommends. It is possible that the transmission manufacturer used a non dyed oil during assembly and the replacement oil is dyed green to differentiate it from other oils, just a thought. All the best,

Sky

The link as said was the MSDS pdf file. It would require a PDF opening program. Manufactures do add dyes to throw you off. Also you noted it is now green instead the brown as indicated in MSDS

So far I have only run one hydro-oil that I haven't been able to sub but they do have some additives to are require for proper operation and that is the Kubota UDT2 but the regular UDT can be subbed. Currently working on a RTV900.
