FINALLY cut the grass

Postby RoyM » Sat Apr 22, 2017 4:10 pm

We have an unusually cool wet spring after a long winter. The grass was still wet but half a Shih-Tzu high so it had to be cut before I lost her. At least our ground is solid enough to not leave ruts with the SCUT but many of the farms still have standing water, planting will be late this year.

Been cutting grass for awhile here. Just having to it on days dry enough to use one of the big JD ZTRs here that is in for repairs. I going to try get cut again before the Tuff Tiger get picked up Wednesday or Thursday.

My personal mower needs flotation tires and I need a scuba suit for a lot my yard but the ducks are having a ball.

As for the weather done had part of my roof blown off and one of the last Bradfords blown down on my fence. Luckily I had my Emus in a different section at the time. I still got to clean up the limbs.
