All: Thank you for your insight! When I used the multi meter on Ohms, I did have resistance. I disconnected the (kill switch) wire as you described and tested and had good spark. I plugged it back in. I noticed the connection was not covered/protected. I wrapped some electrical tape around it. Took the trigger cover off and just jiggled/pushed the switch wires, they were loose but not disconnected. Put it all back together and it all works fine. Not sure if the connector was grounded since it was not protected or if one of the wires in the switch was loose. Anyway, I have a happy neighbor.
