B & S Service bulletins

Postby wristpin » Mon Jul 17, 2017 12:42 pm

Being 4 years retired but still dabbling but with no access to official bulletins etc in the UK I'm wondering is there are any US sites with access to reasonably current bulletins? The "steel flywheel key debate" was of particular interest as I was completely unaware that BS had ever used a steel key other than in the 95700 and 96700 2 cycle engines.

As far as I know the only source is the Power Portal. I am retired as well but keep my MST status active through the local dealer so I have access,

The service bulletins that I aware that relate to the steel key upgrades are APSI 82 and 89. Both which are in the download section of this forum under Briggs>Advance Product Service Information directory.

Thanks, but I think that I've looked in Briggs>Advance Product Service Information directory as directed but can't find either bulletin - so maybe not?

I just checked and they are there and are shared to anyone with the link.

Wristpin if you can't view them I can attach them to an email...
