You and 'the dog' are both hungry. Both of you should never read my Posts before lunch.....or breakfast........or supper. :o :o

I will try not to post anything food related....................maybe. I do not want to be responsible for weight gain or for wardrobe loss. :D :D

Now come Okie, I have loss some weight. I actually lost more but some it keeps finding its way back.

I had put on quite a few pounds during a time in past but I am doing better and not as depressed. Work is keeping me busy so I'm not as prone to open the frig door. I even cut back on the coffee. Now only one pot a day instead of 4 or 5 potfuls.

But I have outgrown my pant waist size some. Closer to 39" than 38". I am needing new ones anyways. Looking at ordering 13 pairs of work pants.

Still hard to cook meals for one person. Everything seems to be geared toward families though it is just as cheap to cook them and throw out half of them to the chickens. At least it is not a total waste though that pecking on the front door when I cooking is bothersome.

Like at the pics. I eat like who's knows what. I eat the cabinets out of stock I find it hard to make up my mind on what to eat a lot of times. I am only weighing in at a big ole 115lbs. Ke4avb if those chickens get to bothering u to much I'll take a whole chicken myself slowly rotisserie or smoked up. Got to love the little pecker heads.

Now I am the other way around I think just looking at food I put weight on. When I was younger I would nearly eat the legs off the kitchen table.

If they weren't family I would snack one of them too but you how it is when you get attached to something. Besides they work for chicken feed. I usually have them clearing decks before I work on the decks.

I got a hen similar to one Okie posted except she got white tail feathers and a lighter red/gold.

Neighbors can't figure how I can free range the chickens next to two busy roads. They are just well trained besides they hate the mop but they are like kids. They will make a run for the neighbor yards when I am busy. They see me coming and they are on the run back for cover. Only lost one hen so far this year to a car.

As far as weighting only 115 your in trouble if I sit on you being that I am 250. Sorta like Goliath my big rooster. All he got to do is put one foot down and the other roosters are screaming for help. He only weight 15lbs but when he came here a few weeks ago he was lucky to be 4 lbs; nothing but skin and bones. He should weight closer to 20-25 lbs once he gets rest of the body weight on. The previous caretaker didn't even know he had round worms. These are the same ones people get so I definitely had to get rid of them quickly as I tend to go bare foot around home.

And Okie my chickens do like fired chicken. I usually let clean the bones when i am through.

Try going thru the drive-thru at BK with a gander goose. He loved burgers. I had hid mine until I got home; he was part pig I think. He died of a broken heart. My his mate die early one morning and he died a couple hours later. Both were close to 15 yrs old.
