Briggs and Stratton series 300 valve settings

I can't find a Model number to look up valve settings It's a Series 300 on a Murray push mower. What say you?

Look on the valve cover or around the muffler.

how old is it? if its in the last couple of years the numbers may also be stamped in the side of the engine block (same side as the muffler) which is not uncommon for the 09P902 models (plastic carburetor on the right side if you are facing the spark plug end of engine)

Nothing on these cheap engines. There is a serial number but it doesn't work..made in 2014

Nah thats a copy/paste from the briggs power portal any tech with an account can login and get that info for you. Im not sure if they have the service manuals done on those "newer" engines quite yet, I never really looked to see since all the specs are right there..

Ok, I do have a login ID with Briggs Power Portal. I'll check it out. That just didn't look like the typical Model Type Code numbers I was used to seeing.
