Kites

When I was kid and the big boys didn't want you hanging around, they would say
"go fly a kite". I wonder if this is what they had in mind?

Hi Travis

Indeed, this is one way to fly kites. Ray regularly practices in Vanier Park, Vancouver, British Columbia. I have flown with Ray a couple of times when I was involved with the Children of the Wond kite festival in Pincher Creek, Alberta. If you ever get the chance to have a beer with Ray, he can tell you some wonderful stories about how he has been invited to fly demonstrations all over the world.

Sometimes just flying a single line kite for the fun of it can be very theraputic, I just let my worries ride up the line to the kite then slide off the tail and be taken away by the wind. All the best,

Sky
