tuffnell, the problem is probably that you got an even bigger frig. You got to downsize it, if the food isn't there it is a lot harder to eat it. You got actually get up go to store to get it.
As for the dyer shrinking clothes I had one many moons ago that did it. Come home to go out for a Friday meal and I couldn't get in any of my double knit pants. Every one was two sizes too small. I had sit around with a towel wrap around me until I wash the only pair I had left that fit. One expensive weekend from buying 14 pairs of pants and a new dyer especially when you're working for minimum wage at the time. Old dyer wasn't worth repairing besides I upgraded to automatic moisture level detection so it would shut off if the clothes were even the timer still had time on it.
Now I am trying to stop putting so weight because family size meals are almost just a cheap as one person meals when you can find single serving meals. Here lately my chickens are eating more the meals than I am. I had two or three at the front door looking for a hand out late yesterday.
The truest measure of society is the how it treats its elderly, its pets, and its prisoners.
