Montgomery Ward wood splitter manual

Does anyone happen to have, or know where I can obtain, a manual/parts list for a Montgomery Ward wood splitter....model TMO 24440C 284G?

From what I can find out that is a very old MTD splitter and the parts are NLA though them. Otherwords if not a simple fix you need to convert it so it can use newer available parts.

I have the same problem on older equipment that simply parts are NLA due either manufacture or retailer are no longer in business.

The MTD model number would be 245-642-088 You can find a parts list for it using 245-642-000 1985
