See DSB1076 in the Briggs Downloads for a heads up.

Edit: I mean they adding electronic fuel management controls. They will have an ECU. (Electronic Control Unit)

I'm guessing this is for some EU mandated choke control? These little Inteks could maybe use a fire ring head gasket first. OR get EFI.

This probably just the first step in going to true computer controlled fuel injection. Right now it ECU driven electric choke controller. I have been working on a Kawasaki that is fuel injected on a JD 445 mower and it controller failed last year. Boy did act crazy spark only on one side and then swap to the other; just keep randomizing the firing of the plugs. And boy are those expensive units to replace.
