Vanguard 294447-1196-A1 (can't read code)
Not charging battery. 19+ AC volts coming from stator. Battery voltage out of regulator.
I'm thinking regulator, but also THOUGHT AC voltage should have been more like high 20s.???

KE4AVB wrote:Bles do you know which alternator stator you have? 19V is only fine if you have the 10 amp system.
With the engine running at 3600 RPM, AC output
should be no less than:
• 28 Volts AC – 5 Amp System
• 40 Volts AC – 9 Amp System
• 20 Volts – 10 Amp System
• 30 Volts – 16 Amp System
• 26 Volts - 20 Amp System
Regulated
5 Amp Black Wire Green Connector 1-5 Amps + DC (Charging)
9 Amp Black Wire Green Connector 1-9 Amps + DC (Charging)
10 Amp 2-Black Wires Yellow Connector 1-10 Amps + DC (Charging)
16 Amp 2-Black Wires Yellow Connector 1-16 Amps + DC (Charging)
20 Amp 2-Yellow Wires White Connector 1-20 Amps + DC (Charging)
