Dixie Chopper Zee 1 parts manual (2013)

I'm having a hard time finding a parts manual for the 2013 Dixie Chopper Zee 1. There's one for the 2012 series, and I made the mistake of assuming the parts on the deck were probably the same both years. I was wrong, and now I have parts I'll likely never sell. The nearest DC dealer to me was no help. He told me to contact a big DC dealer nearly 2 hours away. I'm not willing to go that far to get a throttle cable, and I won't call that dealership and have them give me information and then not buy anything from them. I hate it when people presume upon me that way, so I'm not doing it to someone else. Anyone here know how I can find a parts manual for a 2013 Zee 1?

How can yu be a dealer and not have access to a parts manual?

The Dixie Chopper parts distributor website I have access to only the Zee 2 in the 2013 parts IPL listing. You may need to contact a dealer that cann contact Dixie Chopper directly if it labeled as 2013 Zee 1.

This is getting ridiculous. I contacted Dixie Chopper directly and they sent me a PDF of a manual they said I should use for the 2013 Zee 1. When I opened the email attachment, it was the 2012 parts manual. So this evidently is the best Dixie Chopper has.

That is interesting. The dixie support site shows just owners manual for 2013. But for 2012 it shows the owners and the parts. The owners for the 2 years do have a different publication number. You wonder what what be different in owners if they are the same unit.

According to the manual there are 2 different throttle asm. One for 19hp and one for 23 hp. Maybe you ordered for wrong engine? Or were shipped the wrong one?

Actually, the mistake I made before was ordering some bushings for the deck tension idler arm and the right hand deck belt cover using the 2012 parts manual. Neither one fit. I got them from a "local" dealer (about an hour away) who ordered them for me after I gave them the part numbers. No one made a mistake but me.

Sounds like they made a production run change and it was documented properly so it may not even be your fault that you order 2012 vs 2013 even though there is no 2013 Zee 1 listed they just use the remaining supply of Zee 1 stickers. Or it maybe that you ordered for the wrong deck as I see several different sizes listed.

I had a few JDs where they change the drive system and then noted the wrong serial numbers breaks causing every one of us to order the wrong parts when are close the break points. Even sometimes superseded parts are the problem as they have different specs.

This is where the OEM should step in and make good the errors. At my JD dealer here will work with me on this. Either way things like this causes a lot of headaches for everyone involved.
