Just got plan b. Rather than the complicated angle piece I think that I can just lay 1/8 plate on top chassis. Just barely room to bolt on right side with bolts being clear of engine base. Hopefully enough idler slack to run current belts

Sort on plan c or d. Got plate setup. But because of clearance plate has to go on engine first. At least right side does where bolts are not through chassis anymore but bolts from plate to chassis have to be in place. Hopefully can't wrench to front one for tightening. Thought I was being smart on left side by threading pieces of rod into engine base to go into chassis holes for lineup. Now with engine in place I can't reach then underneath with my fingers. Too much drive stuff. Slow process with long needle nose pliers.

got it mounted and running. Going to look at ipl for ( turns out I do have ipl) Does this throttle control look to be OEM? At lowest setting I get 3660 rpm. The bolt is a shoulder bolt with a drilled cross hole but nothing in the hole.

Well I see nothing like it on the ipl. Even the parts shown that appears to be throttle are confusing in list. Has bracket 222a number but not 222f but then has 271c listred from within the 222f. Governor spring does not look like what I have and when I google picture is even quite different than ipl and I can't believe that the governor spring for a ohv blower engine is already NLA. 695491

So I emailed briggs. Big help. Said governor spring nla. Check with a dealer. Maybe they could help me. It looks like next type after mine changed to adjustable throttle with different bracket. It has 2 springs. One spring , governor and one is spring, governed idle. Looking up parts supplers withe pictures the newer governor sping looks like older except link part on one end is shorter. Likely could use it withe extension rod. Need to remove gas tank to see what I have. Right now I'm dealing with hard or no start. I had run it on 2 cups of 50 50 gas and homemade seafoam. Hard starting has arisen since I went back to straight gas. I have spark and lots of compression. If doesn't restart after sitting overnight I'll pull the valve cover I guess.
