Anyone got the current copy of the Briggs MS-4928?

It is not on the Power Portal. What does it cover?

I know it not on the Power Portal as I search for it there before posting but I have asked Power Distributor to point me in the right direction but they wouldn't reply for a few days.

It is the sale's engine brochure with the engine specs. Per Service it is PN MS4928. I do have a copy of it but it is from 2005 and doesn't have the 44R877-0001 in it.

Umm you know you can look up the specs on them in the engine search on power portal? was gonna go look it up myself just to see, but at the moment power portal seems to be down (not loading for me) - probably clear up in a bit... I quit using the paper catalogs a couple years back, the best fit/replacement engine/model search usually did the job nicely since then..

Most of the specs yes but not the Top No Load Speed that I can find. And this model has a governor idle so the base idle speed is 1200 rpm. THis must set first or the throttle control will not back to idle; unless, under load.

BTW The Power Portal has been very slow loading lately here too.

Yeah thats the one I use - from power portal, click on the Parts button, it loads the E-Parts catalog.. (On first tab, Replacement Info - Model Search - EParts- Engine Repair Manuals .. the e-parts would be the third button.. I'll always use that one if I have any suspicions that the (easier to access) regular online parts catalogs have questionable info (notably, parts that have serial number breaks or for specific type numbers, etc.. those are not always shown properly in the publicly available parts lookups such as at Jacks, or etc.. )
