I came into possession of a push mower. History questionable. It has tecumseh tvs100-44050F. For some reason Partstree has no ipl for this spec number but Jack's has it.
The carb I have is man #1548 which the table I have says is 632795A. The table has no carb 632795 matching any man#, just the A version.
The IPL says carb is 632795A.
This link shows it as dual but does not display the A.
https://outdoorpowerinfo.com/repairs/te ... 632795.asp
My carb is pretty close to this except for
1. primer- I have stepped primer with a centre hole instead of big derby with no hole.
2. Bowl nut- Mine has 2 sets of threads with space between and has the small idle hole . (common on many tecumseh carbs)
Mine has the fixed nozzle as per repair link. It has no adjustments as per repair manual and tecumseh service manual for dual carb.
But to confuse the issue is that if you look for a replacement 632795A it clearly shows in pictures as having adjustable main jet and stepped primer.
To add to this if you look up IPL for the carb the main jet is 632771 which suppliers show as the adjustable.
The primer is 36045A which shows as stepped, not derby.
The main nozzle is 632745 which is the replaceable plastic style with O-rings.
And further my supplier has a derby primer claiming equivalent to tec number 632047 which it claims fits 632795 (no A). My supplier has acouple of bowl nuts that look like the one pictured in the repair link but don't have 632795 listed as a matching carb.
My conclusion is that there was originally a 632795 that got superceded to a 632795A with different features as well as fact mine has been doctored by a PO. Had a big Oring for the bowl gasket.
I'm going to check if I have another tec engine with similar carb in my accumulation
