Choke Shafts worn completely in two.

Just wondering if any else has the Kawasaki twin Nikki carburetor to wear out the choke shafts. Here I am repairing the second one for the same customer. One was on a Z925A on the other which we trying to make to end of the season is a Z950R. I will to get my machinist to make me a another custom bushing as the through hole in carb is ovaled. Much cheaper rework than buying a $600 carburetor from JD or Kawasaki $400 carburetor.
