Hi Gerry

What is this machine, how old is it and does it have a serial number? Do you have the old cable and blade? If you still have the old cable, there should be a part number stamped into the cable somewhere along the outer conduit. The numbers are quite small and are usually printed in blue or white. There should also be a part number stamped into the blade, may need to clean all the grass off with a wire wheel before you find it, but if you can find these numbers, they will go a long way to figuring out what you need. All the best,

This was a problem that Husqvarna created a while back by producing mower under other OEM labels and not providing IPLs. As Sky said look on the cable and blade for PNs.

All I can find on it is the owners manual which is of no help other than the possibility that the push mower was made in 2017. Even then I had to go thru DUCK DUCK to find that. BUt it does appears Husqvarna produced the push mowers in 2017 and 2018 as a search at Jack's skips those years.

Thanks for the help, the present cable looks like a jury rigged toro or lawnboy cable and the blade is a universal. Its a Husqvarna all right got this product code: 967650001 00. I called them twice was on hold the first time 45 minutes then disconnected, second time 32 minutes then disconnected again. Probably just need to adapt an old AYP cable.

Called Husky again today and after an 25 minutes on hold talked with rep and all the info he had was the owners manual. BUT he passed the Mod number up to another dept and they e-mailed an IPL but they cant tell me when the mower was made.......just said it was old.

If it has a Briggs or Kohler then age can't be figured +- 6 months.

Hi Again Jerry

You've given us the model number and the product number but still no serial number. The AYP, EHP or HOPC serial number is usually a 13 digit number. The first six digits are month, day and year, the middle digit is usually a letter and the last 6 digits are the machine's unique number. If you still can't get anywhere with finding parts, you might just have to tell your customer to buy a major brand machine next time from a dealer who can give him/her parts and repair service. Buying stuff from big box stores may seem like a good idea at the time due to the sticker price, but once you've bought it, you're on your own. All the best,
